From the CEO: We Don't Just Make Websites. We Make an Impact.

We always say, “We don’t just make websites. We make an impact.”

There’s no better illustration of that than our sixth annual Hack Week earlier this month at Heifer International headquarters in Little Rock, Ark. Each year, it’s a time when we come together in their offices for a week of hard work (and lots of laughs) to help Heifer fulfill its mission to end hunger and poverty around the world.

The week culminated in the launch of Heifer’s new website, a months-long undertaking that we unveiled in time for the holiday season – when the bulk of their donations come in to fund their projects around the world.

As a result of our partnership, the new website better serves donors through dynamic publishing, our specialized method of serving up content based on users’ backgrounds and needs.

Along with making an impact on Heifer’s revenue, our partnership goes well beyond that; it makes an impact on their strategy and culture as well. In past years, we’ve used Hack Week to churn out a handful of moonshot projects, whiteboarding and iterating to find solutions the Lifeblue way – through innovative approaches supported by data.

Working together with such purpose to meet that critical goal is a hallmark of our company’s culture. In fact, we think that sense of purpose is part of why we were recognized this month as one of the best work environments within the global B Corporation ecosystem.

It’s like we always say. We don’t just make websites. We make an impact.
