Phillip Blackmon “Dreamcatcher”

Phillip graduated from the University of Missouri with a BS in Computer Science, with an emphasis on the structure and planning of software and development services. Initially a self-taught web developer, Phillip honed his skills in college to become a well-rounded development expert in multiple languages, including .NET, PHP, HTML/CSS, C++ and more. Phillip has worked as an in-house web developer and Internet marketing expert for several firms, subsequently working on multiple projects with a number of Fortune 500 companies. In addition to becoming a multi-talented developer, Phillip has also become adept in interactive design and usability/user experience. As principal founder of Lifeblue, Phillip currently occupies his time with serving as the “Dreamcatcher” by fostering new client relationships and remaining an integral part of the campaign strategies and execution for Lifeblue clients.

Russel Dubree “The Backboard”

Russel graduated from the University of Missouri with a BA in History. (Note: While heloves history, he does NOT recommend it as a major.) While attending the Universityof Missouri, he participated in wrestling and Air Force ROTC. After serving a tour in theUnited States Air Force as an air traffic control officer, Russel moved to the Dallas area.As one of the principal founders of Lifeblue, Russel put his eight years of freelanceInternet experience and ownership to the test through various roles during the growth ofthe business. Now as “The Backboard”, Russel’s main focus is building and cultivating the best team of “interactive experience creators” imaginable.

Shyam graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a BS in Economics and Mathematics. Shyam was a port of two start-up businesses in the role of COO, where his operational strategies lead to 30% annual revenue growth. His career began as a research analyst, which lead to expertise in project management, data analysis, IT, analytics and process redesign. Shyam brings over a decade of project management experience to his role as interactive project manager at Lifeblue.

Ben Tautfest “Design Savant”

Ben has had a passion for art his entire life. When he discovered graphic design in high school, he knew he had found his calling. Ben graduated with honors from the Art Institute of Dallas, earning his BFA in Graphic Design and the title of Outstanding Graduate in recognition of his exceptional work. He proceeded into the workforce at the peak of the dot-com explosion in the late 90s and has since assumed roles specializing in everything from interactive to print to branding and marketing. His diverse experience has shaped his well-rounded skill set, but Ben remains inspired by continuous improvement. While he considers himself to be a bit obsessive when it comes to quality and detail, his high personal standards are whatmake him an asset to any team.

Fun Facts:

Ben is a lover of all things design--- including, but not limited to interior, architecture, industrial and music.
His favorite art/design movement is Bauhaus.
His design philosophies are stay true to the process, never cut corners, be precise, do the right thing, true creative genius comes from the power of collaboration and have fun.

Cristal Givens “Digital Alchemist"

Cristal brings an in-depth knowledge of operations, user experience, project management and account services from over 10 years working at large and small interactive agencies. Prior to her dive into the digital industry, she spent 8 years in the music industry supporting labels and artists by creating retail awareness, radio and print publicity and tour support. Her wide range of experience provides a unique and effective approach to interactive project management.

Fun Facts:

Cristal has earned a platinum record for Cake’s “Fashion Nugget” in 1996 for marketing.
She has an ever-growing collection of Tarot cards and occasionally reads them for friends and family.
Her hubby is full-time manager, drummer, vocalist and lyricist for the band ABSU.
She is a native Texan and Dallasite – not many of these around anymore!

Justin Miller “Visual Architect”

Justin graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Art Studio. After graduation he moved to North Carolina to work as a graphic specialist for a government contractor. Taking on freelance and personal projects taught Justin a great deal of the skills he utilizes today. At Lifeblue he specializes in graphic design, HTML, and CSS.

Justin was born and raised in Hanover, PA.
If he wasn’t designing, he would be living on the beach as a surfer.

He plays guitar and piano and can play music by ear.

Cindy Jones "Marketing MacGyver"

Cindy graduated from Washburn University with a BBA in Business Marketing and later from the University of Texas in Arlington with her MBA. She had initial aspirations of law, but when the world of business marketing revealed itself to her, it instantly became her passion. Cindy spent fifteen years in the telecommunications and technology industry and then went on to pursue work in the nonprofit sector. As Interactive Marketing Director for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, her team grew social media reach, increased brand awareness and significantly impacted media outreach and donated advertising space. After years of working on the client side, she was inspired by the opportunity to join a dynamic digital design agency and offer her expertise and creativity to a new venture. She is focused on marketing and branding for Lifeblue and its industry-leading client base.

Cindy was born in Plainville, KS, but does not have a dog named Toto.
Her passions are jewelry design and photography.
Her last meal would be pad kee mao – it is her addiction.
She has traveled to over 15 countries.

Jonathan Pacheco "Front-End Auteur"

Jonathan graduated college with an Assoicate degree in Communication. Since the early-to-mid aughts, he’s been sharpening his sweet skills in HTML, CSS, JavaSCript, and computer hacking---tying himself to the runaway strain that is the ever-progressing front-end web, along with the HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery railcars. With every project Jonathan challenges himself to improve and impolement his own values of efficiency and expertise in an attempt to make the web a more standard, semantic and beautiful place. Other daily goals include becoming funnier than Larry David and finishing the book Infinite Jest. When not cleaning up the spacing in his markup, Jonathan spends his days eating watermelons, scolding kittens, and impersonating Woody Allen outside of the Angelika Theater.

Savannah graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Texas with a BA in Advertising and a minor in Marketing. She was awarded Most Outstanding Advertising Student among her graduating class and is currently continuing her education at UNT as she pursues a Master’s degree in Journalism to hone her impressive writing skills. Savannah has received several awards and scholarships for her artistic abilities and commendable writing style and has practiced her love of marketing and design by taking on freelance advertising work for various businesses, professionals and non-profit organizations. Savannah is the proud owner of a Chihuahua who is misleadingly named Killer.
She can name all 50 states in less than 17 seconds… alphabetically.
She was voted Most Artistic in her graduating class and insisted on wearing an askew beret for the photo.

Chad Davis "Tech Specialist"

Chad graduated from the University of Autodidactism with a major in lifelong computer geekery with a passion for open source web and application development. Having worn many hats in both corporate IT and web development agencies, he brings a wide range of experience to Lifeblue. He holds extensive knowledge of all aspects of the LAMP stack, which includes everything from building Linux servers and wrangling Apache to designing MySQL databases and developing in PHP. Derek Odell "Codebase Wrangler"

Derek moved to the Dallas area after over 20 years of living in Spokane, Washington. There, he attended a few of the state’s colleges to study computer science before landing a job at one of the region’s most renown entertainment gaming companies, Cyan Worlds. In his eight and a half years at the company, Derek worked as a tester, audio programmer, gameplay programmer and game designer. He worked on three PC games (including the company’s most popular franchise, Myst), two expansion packs, three iPhone games and countless prototypes. This experience has provided Derek with a deep knowledge and understanding of computer programming and development that he now contributes as a member of the Lifeblue team.

Fun Facts:

Derek is part Hawaiian and often visits his many family members who still live there.
He enjoys motorsports and used to race a 1988 Honda CRX.
He programmed an iOS game that made it into the Top 10 Selling Apps on the App Store.
He loves \'80s cartoons and owns a large collection of Transformers.
